I was able to understand a bit of the dialoge through out Midsummer Night's Dream but most of it was pretty hard. The language did get slightly easier as the movie went on but it was diffucult for me to understand what the characters were talking about and how one word had multiple meanings. I think that the plot in the movie was good, it wasn't really complicated but it had enough going on so it didnt get boring. My perception on Shakespeare is that his play writes are really well thought of and the characters explain themselves so it seems like you know a lot about them in not much time.
I don't know much about Romeo and Juliet but I've heard many good things about it. I think I will probably like it but it might get a little irritating listening to everyone in class reading out a part becuase it won't flow as well becuase of the old-time language. I might enjoy the next two months of class as much as you, but I can get really frusturated when I don't know whats going on in the book and I can see that happening very easily with the difference in language. Im going to try to enjoy it to the fullest I can, and I guess we'll see what happends.
