A movie that revolves around one of the Shakespeare play plots is Wedding Crashers. In Wedding Crashers, Owen Wilson, and Vince Vaughn crash weddings to try and find girls. But after crashing one, Owen finds out that the girl he had met is ingaged. He falls in love with her and she falls in love with him but her fiance is a huge jerk and beats up Owen. This is a perfect a perfect example of a love triangle.
This movie is closly related to Shakespear's play, A Midsummer Night's Dream. In both stories, there is a girls father who wants them to marry a rich man but the girl likes another man who is not rich but a gentleman. I don't think that the movie producers followed the story line too well from a Midsummer Night's Dream but only used the love triangle idea. I think all in all, Shakespeare has a huge infulence on modern media. Almost all modern movies have these plots or something very similar.

Yes, I TOTALLY agree with you beck.. I think Wedding crashers is a good movie also. It fits Shakespeare play and it has good romance in that movie. And I also agree with you that Shakespeare had a great deal of influence to all directors modern day today.
That movie does sound like it was influenced by A Midsummer Night's Dream; I can see the similarities in the story. I think you're right that Shakespeare has inspired and influenced a lot of modern media.
